Friday show and tell - my response

During Friday's zoom,  I chose this piece as the piece that best represents what my project is all about. We then did a digital group critique, in which I got feedback on this piece from my peers. The feedback gave me a lot of good ideas, thus I decided to create quick responses to it. The piece of mine can be seen below, and the feedback about the piece is further down, below my piece of work.

I then created a list of possible developments, which were suggested in the feedback.

- include background

- use colour

- cut text and suspend from high up

- present this chaos in different unconventional ways

- put different areas in bold/ make words or phrases bolder

- enlarge certain words

- use different fonts

- different size of words

- draw over the top of words

- different colours of fonts

Afterwards, I selected the ones I wanted to explore. Here are my outcomes:

Enlarging certain words:

Adding a background:

I added a red one due to the colour's connotations of evil and blood.

Drawing over the top of the words:

I drew a pair of hands pressed up against the surface, to portray suffering, or pain, which is what an individual suffering from OCD often feels like. Again, I used red, as it symbolises evil and blood.
